Participation and choir performance at the PRIDE MLK Event (7 PM)
Wayside Christian Mission’s MLK Celebration located in the Grand Ballroom at Hotel Louisville. The celebration includes:
A traditional Christian blessing of the food, volunteers, and attendees
- Refreshments
- Mission Choir Performance
- Bible reading
- Guest Performers
- Audience participation - Reading of famous MLK quotes
- Rendition of the MLK “I have a dream speech.”
- Candle remembrance walk on Broadway (weather permitting)
