Regardless of canine or feline preferences, our pets occupy special places in our hearts. And why not? Pets give us unconditional love. Many of the women and men who seek shelter at the Wayside Rescue Station arrive with their pets.

 

As a low barrier shelter, we invite their furry friends to come to stay with them. The animals are safe from the rigors of the outdoors and their owners appreciate the love and security that pets provide. Our low barrier shelter serves people who have lost nearly everything. Their pets give back a little of what they have lost.
