Man High on Spice Bites Others!

Last night a new man was admitted to the Low Barrier Shelter during Operation White Flag. Soon it was apparent that he had been smoking spice before arriving and his behavior became violent. In a short time, our staff had to call the police. When the police arrived, the man still high on spice, bit and scratched two staff members, bit another client, and one of the police officers. The police had no choice but to use a taser to get him under control, cuff him, and take him to jail. Our staff members had to go to the hospital for treatment.
