Because of mental illness and drug addictions, many homeless folks make poor decisions during the cold weather, often not knowing about freezing temps that may be only hours away. Wayside's Good Samaritan Patrol attempts to prevent tragedy from happening by offering rides to the Mission, blankets, a cup of hot coffee, or a sack meal. Most elect to endure the cold and 911 calls are always made if children are involved. We appreciate these men and women who volunteer to give up a night each week to be real lifesavers combing the streets and camps of the community.
During COVID-19 the patrol has been limited, but Bill Leavell and his crew of helpers have taken the challenge each Monday. Thanks for saving lives!

I really valued how this article avoided sensationalizing the subject, sticking closely to what's actually known and verified. That measured approach is exactly what makes a trusted blog stand apart from more attention-seeking content. Thanks for such a measured and genuinely credible piece.
I stumbled onto this while looking for something else entirely, and it ended up being more relevant to my situation than what I was originally searching for. The author addressed a specific edge case that most general coverage of this topic tends to overlook or oversimplify. It made the piece considerably more useful than a one-size-fits-all explanation would have been. To…
Not all blogs manage to be genuinely useful, but this one consistently delivers content worth reading all the way through. This particular post stood out for how clearly it laid out actionable steps rather than vague suggestions. I liked that the writer backed up their points with reasoning instead of just stating them outright. It made the advice feel a lot more credible and easier to trust. Definitely recommending this useful blog to others.
