COVID-19 creates problems for all of us. Imagine having 500 people in a homeless shelter and they all need to social distance and have masks. Well, it is only with the help of rescuers in the community have we been able to meet CDC requirements. Ford Motor Company, Louisville Plants supplied thousands of masks to help keep our community at Wayside healthy. The picture above features a recent drop-off.
Thanks, FORD employees and management for making Wayside Christian Mission a safer place during the worldwide pandemic of 2020. We could not do it without help!
BTW - Wayside clients have been tested in large groups on three occasions and our positive rate is about 1%, far below the state and county averages.
